When the doc did the first chest x-ray, I could tell something wasn’t right by the look on his face. He asked me to do another one. When he was finished with the second one. He brought them both out and put them in a lighted white wallboard.
He stood there for a moment looking at them, one hand on his chin. He looked back at me and asked me if I knew what he was seeing. I said I didn’t. In his first x-ray he was not able to see my lungs. He took the second one at a higher setting (hope I’m saying that right.) He told me I had the largest set of lungs he had ever seen and that their edges were along my ribcage.
I told him about my history of asthma and about God healing me of it when I was 16.
