Experience

  • Christian Life Center, Port Orchard, WA – September 2009 to Present
    • Assist Youth Department leaders in any way necessary. This includes stacking chairs; creating and running PowerPoint presentations; researching, and acquiring, and installing media for services.
    • Assist Media Department in overcoming viruses; optimizing and updating computers; and installing conversion tools for media brought in by congregants.
  • Cedar Park Church, Bothell, WA – April 2008 to August 2009
    • Created PowerPoint presentations for Sunday Services; update website with text and presentation materials of Sunday Services
    • Teach Men’s class, “God’s Armor Bearer” on Wednesday evenings and assisted with preparation and presentation of materials for Saturday morning Men’s breakfasts.
    • Assisted Youth Department in any way necessary. This included a young men’s devotional time in books from the “Majoring in Men” series by E. L. Cole. and making our home available for College and High School home groups.
  • Calvary Temple Worship Center, Modesto, CA September 1984 to April 2008
    • Taught a number of the Edwin Lewis Cole series, Real Man Ministries (Excellent Series!!) while serving Pastor Michael Williams.
    • Assisted many of our youth ministers in every aspect of ministry from making flyers, stacking chairs, creating and managing databases, being available for 24 hour hospital visits and suicide watches, JH and prison visitation to teaching classes on being God’s Armor Bearer to our leaders.
    • Assisted  with my wife as NAME counselors in our Marrieds ministry as directed by Pastor Mike Trenton.
    • Assisted in bagging and distributing food and clothing to the homeless in the parks as directed by Pastor Chuck Cutsinger.
    • Assisted many of our children’s ministers by drawing, copying and distributing flyers to children in parks and homes in lower income housing areas; going out in buses to pickup children who couldn’t otherwise come to church. (This is how I was saved.)
    • Assisted as a guest homes, hospital and prison visitations, and interim support pastor as directed by Pastor Constance Pack through ministry internships and whenever/wherever needed.

Skills

When I original lost my credential due to my divorce, I continued to be involved in ministries and to develop a knack for computers. Since then, I’ve become a database programmer and administrator, software designer, network administrator, and a computer desktop support person who really cares about those whom he’s blessed to serve.
