Project Description

… Jaclyn couldn’t come with me.

I was introduced to Facebook by a friend when I worked for Cedar Park Church, in Bothell, Washington. It became my ‘journal of choice’ there and gave me a medium with which to share Africa with Jaclyn who could not come with me on this missionary journey we were originally meant to take together.

It was not much later than our employment began at Cedar Park Church, that we were introduced to one of their annual events for which we will be forever grateful. It was also this event, though, which led to Jaclyn not being able to come with me to Africa. The event was Presentation Sunday, which occurs every year on the last Sunday of January. It was a special Sunday service at which they prayed for couples longing to have children who had not been able to conceive.

In a way, you could say, it was there that this journal, this blog, really began.

I pray as you sip your coffee or tea and read whatever inspired you to stop here, that you see a facet of God you have never seen before. I pray you experience your own ‘innovative genesis,’ your own new beginning, in some portion of your life as you see what God has done in ours.

Be at peace. "In mercy and truth atonement is provided for iniquity; and by the fear of the Lord one departs from evil. When a man's ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him." - Proverbs 16:6 ... at peace. Sounds like a location.

"Repentance" "Repentance is a good thing" "You will show them." "Repentance drives demons away. Those educated demons, it drives them away. " Parts of a prophecy spoken over Jaclyn and I some years back and I think I'm beginning to understand it. I was at Kingdom Men tonight, and as I was worshiping, the

"What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying? And if he should find it, assuredly, I say to you, he rejoices more over that sheep than over

Ever been disappointed? It's proof you have the capacity to dream. From devotions this morning: "He Cares About You" "When he tasted it, the water had become wine." - John 2:9 “Anyone who is having troubles should pray” - James 5:13 "Have you taken your disappointments to God? You’ve shared them with your neighbor,

It happens, right? You've been in similar circumstances. Allow the Lord to be your rescuer, your deliverer. Release, forgive, and bring no harm to the perpetrator. Trust the Lord. I recently spent time with one of my 'Saul's.' When you allow God to heal your heart, there is a REAL healing. My favorite moment was

"The LORD does not listen to the wicked, but he hears the prayers of those who do right. Good news makes you feel better. Your happiness will show in your eyes. If you listen to correction to improve your life, you will live among the wise. Those who refuse correction hate themselves, but those who accept correction gain understanding.

Someone said yesterday that having a child when you're older keeps you younger. I think my favorite part is being facinated with what facinates him. True when we live for others as well, though. "We who are strong in faith should help the weak with their weaknesses, and not please only ourselves. Let each
