Sin is like candy.

Max is all about black licorice. Last night he struggled with this really cool dish Jaclyn made by turning a squash into spaghetti noodles with a fork.

Between it, the meat, and the sauce, it was great!

Still, Max struggled.

When I finished mine, I scooped a few jelly beans from the candy machine and Max heard me.

Instantly his countenance changed and I thought about this note.

Edwin Louis Cole said, “Sin will take you farther then you want to go, keep you longer than you want to stay, and cost you more than you want to pay.”

I want to eat one more.
I don’t feel so good.
I am now overweight or have diabetes or wear false teeth or whatever else results from eating too much candy.

It doesn’t hit you right away, though, does it?

In your head and your heart, yours is not the only voice enticing you. It’s always two against One.
