Now, I know we aren’t 99 and 90 but reading a portion of today’s devotions made me laugh, too.

“Abraham was one hundred years old when his son Isaac was born. And Sarah said, “God has made me laugh. Everyone who hears about this will laugh with me. No one thought that I would be able to have Abraham’s child, but even though Abraham is old I have given him a son.” – Genesis 21:5

I wonder sometimes if God brought us to Bothell, WA just so we could go to Cedar Park Church where, in January of 2009, and every January, they have a time of prayer for people wanting to have children.

Many here in CA had prayed with us and I think our new family at CPC became the the icing on the cake. The way they prayed and believed with us was Jesus answering our Luke 17:5.

Seeing little Max here playing with a remote controlled toy, I laugh. There is a great inner joy in seeing God fulfill such an incredibly miraculous prayer of faith.
