This is REAL science:
“God is honored for what he keeps secret. Kings are honored for what they can discover.” – Proverbs 25:2
Science, exploration utilizing the five senses, is meant for the discovery of those ‘secrets’ of God that fall within its purview.
Our relationship with God involves a little science, much like our relationships with each other as we observe each other’s hair and eye color, our skin tone, and our clothing styles. Beyond that, however with us, with God, are the greater secrets, mysteries of who God is, who we are, why we’re here, and where we’re going.
Relationship holds hands with science as we adventure together to discover God’s secrets.
Science helps me appreciate the Louvre. Relationship is my inspiration to visit the little cafe just down the lane from the Eiffel Tower, where we sit across from each other eye to eye, breathing the pungent vapors, sipping the faintly bitter French roast, wondering what adventure lies before us.
