God knows what you’re made of.
Some of those experiences you came through weren’t just for you and may not have been for you, at all.
“He comforts us every time we have trouble, so when others have trouble, we can comfort them with the same comfort God gives us.” – 2 Corinthians 1:4
We’ve come through some weird stuff. We were totally new in a couple places and a few people treated us like we were from the devil.
It was so harsh and unexpected that we were not certain how to respond and yet a response, and not a reaction is what we were asked to give.
We went our knees for those who attempted to hurt us. We went to our leaders who asked us to be still.
We followed Paul’s directions for conflict trying to reconcile with them and they wouldn’t have it.
Still, through the experiences we were comforted by God and by real brothers and sisters in the Lord.
God was and is faithful when you trust Him. That is what we passed on to others. That is what we continue to pass on to others.
“All the believers have heard that you obey, so I am very happy because of you. But I want you to be wise in what is good and innocent in what is evil.” – Romans 16:19
We obeyed, despite their inexplicable treatment of us and remained faithful to them.
To this day, there has been no reconciliation with them but God’s amazing comfort and care has been ours throughout.
Trust Him.
He is worthy of your trust through the inexplicable.
