From the “Grace for the Moment” devotional this morning, is this beautiful illustration of discipleship.

Jesus calls each of us to follow, right?

So often we expect our leaders to call us, to write us, and to drag us along.

Jesus never modeled that.

He is one leader with many disciples, right?

Sometimes there were thousands, others there were hundreds, still others there were only eleven, and, at the cross, there was only one.

From the verse this morning we’re called to be disciples, to be followers, right?

Are we?

Do we allow ourselves to become discouraged when a pastor or leader doesn’t ‘follow’ up with us?

I’ve certainly been there and done that.

Then I took off my bib.

Foundations of Faith

The basic doctrines, the foundation, of the Christian faith are the subject of this completely online Bible study course.

Foundations of Faith

There are two reasons for failure to live a victorious Christian life. The first reason is that some who are trying to live like Christians have never been born again. They do not understand the basic doctrines of Jesus Christ. The second reason for failure is not going on to spiritual maturity. The focus of this study is that  maturity.

Kingdom Living

All men live in a natural kingdom of this world. They live in a city or village which is part of a nation. That nation is a kingdom of the world. In addition to the natural kingdoms of this world there are two spiritual kingdoms which exist.

Kingdom Living

Every person alive is a resident of one of these two kingdoms: The kingdom of Satan or the Kingdom of God. This study concerns the Kingdom of God. It introduces the two spiritual kingdoms, their rulers, and residents. It provides spiritual keys for gaining access to the Kingdom of God and warns of things which result in being cast out.
