True freedom and true independence are found in Christ.
Whom the Son sets free is free indeed!
“Even children are known by their behavior; their actions show if they are innocent and good.” – Proverbs 20:11
If ‘even children,’ how much more so us?
God help us be innocent and good.
God help us be dependent on Him and revolt against sin.
This is real independence.
“If anyone belongs to Christ, there is a new creation. The old things have gone; everything is made new!” – 2 Corinthians 5:17
