“Then all the nations that fight against Jerusalem will be like a dream; all the nations that attack her will be like a vision in the night.
They will be like a hungry man who dreams he is eating, but when he awakens, he is still hungry.
They will be like a thirsty man who dreams he is drinking, but when he awakens, he is still weak and thirsty.
It will be the same way with all the nations who fight against Mount Zion.” – Isaiah 29:7-8
How long will you fight against Him?
What progress will you make?
How long will you be satisfied with your unrequited love?
“Tearing your clothes is not enough to show you are sad; let your heart be broken.
Come back to the LORD your God,
because he is kind and shows mercy.
He doesn’t become angry quickly,
and he has great love.
He can change his mind about doing harm.” – Joel 2:13
‘his mind’ not mine. I have no harm in mind for you. Life is too short. It goes on.
I wiped the dust off of my shoes and went on to the next town. There have been so many who have said ‘yes’, who have become family.
How many times would you throw a Frisbee to a person who didn’t throw it back?
Still, it is not too late.
Others will stop by your town or you may come to the one in which I’m staying, the one where I was welcomed and where they threw the Frisbee back.
“But even there you can look for the LORD your God, and you will find him if you look for him with your whole being. It will be hard when all these things happen to you. But after that you will come back to the LORD your God and obey him, because the LORD your God is a merciful God. He will not leave you or destroy you.“ – Deuteronomy 4:29-31
