“Be dressed, ready for service, and have your lamps shining. Be like servants who are waiting for their master to come home from a wedding party. When he comes and knocks, the servants immediately open the door for him.

They will be blessed when their master comes home, because he sees that they were watching for him. I tell you the truth, the master will dress himself to serve and tell the servants to sit at the table, and he will serve them.” – Luke 11:35-37

Anticipation… the bounce for the step, the glint in an eye, and the awe in every mundane task is knowing our reward is not in the moment but in the return.

The rapture, the sudden taking away of each of us, may be that grand event when the Lord comes for all of us at once or it may be in just a moment, a twinkling of an eye.

We don’t know.

Still, to think, to wonder, to quiver with a giddiness that it may be today or tomorrow is reason to give this moment all you have.

There may not be another.
Are you ready?
Are you waiting?
Are you anticipating the return of the One who loves you and desires to bless you?

I can hardly contain it sometimes!!
