April 15th, 1973, a Sunday, (Yes, I had to look it up! ;) ) today, this afternoon, I asked Jesus into my heart.
The bus driver, Dave Womack, sat behind me on the steps of the bus as I sat on the bottom step, clasped my hands together like I thought you were supposed to, and prayed what is called, “The Sinner’s Prayer.”
God has been here with me ever since.
Could today be your spiritual birthday, too?
“Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior.”
