I have dear ones coming through hard circumstances and I have come through a few.
This verse, especially the NLT version I read in 1997-8, said,
“God has given us everything we need for living a godly life.”
Pastor had already shared his message wherein he’d said, “God’s not sitting on His throne saying, “Oh! I didn’t see that coming!”
God knows.
God knew.
He loves you.
He loves me.
I came through an experience of losing everyone and everything of intrinsic value in my life.
“His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence…” – 2 Peter 1:3 NCV
“By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.” – 2 Peter 1:3 NLT
God has given us everything we need for living a godly life.
God knew before I came through it, what I needed to pass through it and whispered it into my breath of life.
Breathe.
Trust Him.
