“And wherever they were scattered, they told people the Good News.” – Acts 8:4

The people were ‘scattered’ by persecution.

It reminded me of how a ‘new’ flu strain was used to create a ‘pandemic’ and close all of our public meeting places.

Do you KNOW the ‘Good News’ well enough to tell others about it?

Are you the pastor of your own home?

Could you be the pastor of your neighborhood?

Will there be more ‘pandemics’, more reasons for us not to meet together as the whole body of Christ?

We’ve already had a taste of it.

Get into your Bible. Find studies that take you deeper than a devotional. BE the fivefold ministry to those around you so that when, not if, another reason to keep us from gathering comes up, YOU will be able to reach and to teach your family, your friends, your neighbors, and anyone else with whom you come in contact.

apostle: “a messenger or one sent on a mission.”

prophet: “spokesman; one who utters divinely inspired revelations.”

evangelist: “a person who seeks to convert others to the Christian faith, especially by public preaching”

pastor: “shepherd; to lead to pasture, set to grazing, cause to eat”

teacher: “a person who helps students to acquire knowledge, competence or virtue”

From Ephesians 4:11, ALL of these roles, referred to as the ‘fivefold ministry’ are here, right now, in the body of Christ to make us ready for the coming of the Lord.

Feeling scattered?

Equip yourself!

Tell others the Good News.
