Saw this letter in my research for a message and was SO inspired!
I even wrote a six line poem.
I read about Mr. Vonnegut and remembered reading portions of one of his books in 6th grade, but am especially inspired by the conclusion of his letter.
I SO hope to meet him when the Lord returns for me.
… you will find that you have already been gloriously rewarded for your poem.”
I write here on WordPress, Facebook, and Instagram with the hope and inspiration of possibly moving someone to know Jesus just a little more or better than they did before they read one of my notes and not always knowing if anybody read one at all.
“Tear it up into teeny-weeny pieces, and discard them into widely separated trash recepticals.”
Other times, I just write because I felt the urge to share something that revealed to me another facet of God I’d not previously seen.
As Mr. Vonnegut concluded: “God bless you all!”
