Heard a story once about a parrot and a pitbull.

Seems a thief was in the process of burgling a home one night when he heard a raspy voice in the dark say, “Jesus is watching you.”

The thief dropped to the floor and listened for a bit just a little freaked out. Nothing. Certain there was no one in the home, he got up and began looking for things to steal.

“Jesus is watching you” he heard again.

This time he risked turning on his flash light and swept it around the room. There, in the corner, on a perch, was a parrot.

“Jesus is watching you” it rasped.

As the thief breathed a sign of relief his flashlight dipped just enough to see a rather large dog food bowl with the name “Jesus” etched in its chromed surface.

As the hair began to rise on the back of his neck, he heard a deep throaty growl in the dark to his left.
He ran from the house.

“A thief comes to steal and kill and destroy, but I came to give life–life in all its fullness.” – John 10:10

When thieves come to steal, kill, and destroy, Jesus gives life and watches out for you.  ;)

Foundations of Faith

The basic doctrines, the foundation, of the Christian faith are the subject of this completely online Bible study course.

Foundations of Faith

There are two reasons for failure to live a victorious Christian life. The first reason is that some who are trying to live like Christians have never been born again. They do not understand the basic doctrines of Jesus Christ. The second reason for failure is not going on to spiritual maturity. The focus of this study is that  maturity.

Kingdom Living

All men live in a natural kingdom of this world. They live in a city or village which is part of a nation. That nation is a kingdom of the world. In addition to the natural kingdoms of this world there are two spiritual kingdoms which exist.

Kingdom Living

Every person alive is a resident of one of these two kingdoms: The kingdom of Satan or the Kingdom of God. This study concerns the Kingdom of God. It introduces the two spiritual kingdoms, their rulers, and residents. It provides spiritual keys for gaining access to the Kingdom of God and warns of things which result in being cast out.
