We pray a prayer at the dinner table like this:

“Dear God, please bless this food to our bodies as you do your Word to our spirits.”

Sometimes, I think the older we get, the more we engage our flesh and suppress our spirit.

I think for each of us there is an adventure to be had wherein we whisper to the Lord in our quiet times, “I trust you just a little more with a little more of my heart.” and He reveals just a little more of His glory.

“Even today, when they read the law of Moses, there is a covering over their minds.

But when a person changes and follows the Lord, that covering is taken away.

The Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

Our faces, then, are not covered.

We all show the Lord’s glory, and we are being changed to be like him. This change in us brings ever greater glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” – 2 Corinthians 3:15-18

Tinkerbell: “You know that place between sleep and awake? That place where you still remember dreaming?”

[Peter nods]

Tinkerbell: “That’s where I’ll always love you… Peter Pan. That’s where I’ll be waiting.”

Consider staying in that place just a little longer in your daily devotions and experience a little more of His glory.

“Bangarang!”
