I’ve seen my share of people making bad choices and then seeming to prosper anyway.

“God is truly good to Israel, to those who have pure hearts. But I had almost stopped believing; I had almost lost my faith because I was jealous of proud people. I saw wicked people doing well. They are not suffering; they are healthy and strong.” – Psalm 73:1-4

Asaph was “jealous of proud people…”

It happens. I get my eyes off of eternity and on to people.

“I tried to understand all this, but it was too hard for me to see until I went to the Temple of God.
Then I understood what will happen to them.” – vs. 16-17

Spending time in God’s house, my heart, His temple, I’m reminded this life has an expiration date and that it’s sooner than later.

When Asaph gets his eyes on God again, he says:

“But I am always with you; you have held my hand. You guide me with your advice, and later you will receive me in honor. I have no one in heaven but you; I want nothing on earth besides you. My body and my mind may become weak, but God is my strength.

He is mine forever.

Those who are far from God will die; you destroy those who are unfaithful.
But I am close to God, and that is good. The Lord GOD is my protection. I will tell all that you have done.” – vs. 23-28

Foundations of Faith

The basic doctrines, the foundation, of the Christian faith are the subject of this completely online Bible study course.

Foundations of Faith

There are two reasons for failure to live a victorious Christian life. The first reason is that some who are trying to live like Christians have never been born again. They do not understand the basic doctrines of Jesus Christ. The second reason for failure is not going on to spiritual maturity. The focus of this study is that  maturity.

Kingdom Living

All men live in a natural kingdom of this world. They live in a city or village which is part of a nation. That nation is a kingdom of the world. In addition to the natural kingdoms of this world there are two spiritual kingdoms which exist.

Kingdom Living

Every person alive is a resident of one of these two kingdoms: The kingdom of Satan or the Kingdom of God. This study concerns the Kingdom of God. It introduces the two spiritual kingdoms, their rulers, and residents. It provides spiritual keys for gaining access to the Kingdom of God and warns of things which result in being cast out.
