I’ve experienced my share of obvious and subtle enemies. From those hating me to my face to those with bitterness in their hearts toward me, God has protected me.
In my experience, it is not like we will purposely ‘walk on’ the lions and snakes in our lives. It will just happen as we pursue God, not as though we are oblivious to them, either, but that, as we trust God, He will place them beneath our feet.
The Lord is our protection.
