“When Jesus saw that a crowd was quickly gathering, he ordered the evil spirit, saying, “You spirit that makes people unable to hear or speak, I command you to come out of this boy and never enter him again!
The evil spirit screamed and caused the boy to fall on the ground again. Then the spirit came out. The boy looked as if he were dead, and many people said, “He is dead!” But Jesus took hold of the boy’s hand and helped him to stand up. When Jesus went into the house, his followers began asking him privately, “Why couldn’t we force that evil spirit out?” Jesus answered, “That kind of spirit can only be forced out by prayer and fasting. – Matthew 9:25-29

Some say, “I want to see the supernatural!” but are not willing to discipline the natural.

Jaclyn and I were at the Costco in Woodenville having finished shopping, sitting at one of their little square white tables eating polish dogs when a couple walked in pushing a little girl in a stroller. Something was off.

I thought it was my vision at first but it didn’t seem to affect my view of anyone else.

The child had another set of eyes. Yeah, I know, crazy. The eyes, like a set of contact lenses hovering just above her real eyes, flickered as she looked in my direction.

I put my hand on Jaclyn’s and told her what I saw then stood and approached the couple acting as though I recognized them from church.

The toddler stiffened, then shrieked so loudly everyone looked in our direction. The mother scooped up her daughter incredulous.

Apologetically, she told me their daughter had never reacted like that to anyone.
The toddler calmed. The eyes were gone.

We told them we attended Cedar Park and invited them and then, left. (I know I could have done more, now)

What if that was you today?

What if it wasn’t?

What if today’s a prep day, a boot camp for the supernatural purpose God has assigned to you?

What if that devotional, that Bible study, that prayer time the enemy keeps trying to tell you is a waste of time was the very time God was using to get you ready for the supernatural you crave?
