Jaclyn sleeps. I hear her steady breathing.
Outside, the wind breathes through boughs and branches.
We’re home.
I read.
Reading, I find the verse above and I remember you. Most of you are still alive.
I am me because of you.
My family knows Jesus because you were faithful to teach God’s Word to me.
I pass on to them what you passed on to me. (2 Timothy 2:2)
My children know and will know Jesus, will tell their own spheres of influence, because you were faithful.
How could I ever forget you!
Thank you.
For all eternity I will remember you.
