“Brothers and sisters, if someone in your group does something wrong, you who are spiritual should go to that person and gently help make him right again. But be careful, because you might be tempted to sin, too.” – Galatians 6:1
The false teacher kept others eyes on my method not my message.
While I did attempt many methods to employ the Truth and to draw them back to the Truth, had I been the one in error, they might have attempted to make me right again but they only attempted to silence me and push me away.
I implore you, know the Truth of God’s Word.
I have applied a broad stroke of God’s Word to a surgical error in the hopes that, if you might be pricked or lacerated by the same error, you would recognize it is not the Truth but an attempt by the enemy to subject you to a perversion of the law again.
In the previous chapter, Paul warns a group of believers not to fall back into any version of the law, if you do, you must follow all of it.
“We have freedom now, because Christ made us free. So stand strong.
Do not change and go back into the slavery of the law.
Listen, I Paul tell you that if you go back to the law by being circumcised, Christ does you no good.
Again, I warn every man: If you allow yourselves to be circumcised, you must follow all the law.” – Galatians 5:1-3
Be careful. You only have to be off a little bit at the beginning to be totally off in the end.
Paul says:
“You were running a good race.
Who stopped you from following the true way?
This change did not come from the One who chose you.
Be careful!
“Just a little yeast makes the whole batch of dough rise.”
But I trust in the Lord that you will not believe those different ideas.
Whoever is confusing you with such ideas will be punished.” – Galatians 5:7-10
I have experienced the love, or lack of it, from false teaching. There was no attempt at reason or reconciliation, only silence and rejection.
“All people will know that you are my followers if you love each other.” – John 13:35
Stick to the Truth.
