“Even the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.
Brothers and sisters, look at what you were when God called you.
Not many of you were wise in the way the world judges wisdom.
Not many of you had great influence.
Not many of you came from important families.
But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and he chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.
He chose what the world thinks is unimportant and what the world looks down on and thinks is nothing in order to destroy what the world thinks is important.” – 1 Corinthians 1:25-28

“Do not let anyone treat you as if you are unimportant because you are young. Instead, be an example to the believers with your words, your actions, your love, your faith, and your pure life. Until I come, continue to read the Scriptures to the people, strengthen them, and teach them.” – 1Timothy 4:12-13

It’s when people forget who THEY are, that they treat you like you are insignificant.

“But I say to you who are listening, love your enemies. Do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who are cruel to you.” – Luke 6:27-28

Had someone treat me as though I was invisible a bit back and it really messed with me for a few days. We had both come from the same kinds of pasts and that is how we were treated as children so we normally knew better and loved others more because we knew.

They were coming through their own challenges at the moment and forgot who they were in Christ.

Guard your heart AND, the part I had to be reminded of, consider what the other might be coming through to cause them to forget who they are in Christ.
