The Blue Screen of Death indicates a glitch that has finally incapacitated a computer. We don’t see the glitch. We see this ‘blue screen’ that indicates something so bad has happened that the computer must be reset to hopefully restore it to a point it will work again.

In heaven it’s the Red Screen of Death.

One of these days, when we all stand before that great throne of God to give and receive the accounting of our lives, as the scenes of our lives are replayed, there will be screens completely wiped out, screens where we’ll see only a ‘red screen’.

This Red Screen of Jesus’ Death will have covered, washed away, removed, and then reset the scene at that particular moment now covered by Jesus’ sacrifice, His blood, as we called out to Him in a moment we were completely incapacitated by our sin.

The Good News, the Gospel, is this:

The Red Screen of Death is the precursor to a reboot of our lives, a complete refresh, reset, and redemption.

Don’t wait. Don’t stay in your sin any longer. Call out to Jesus

Be redeemed, restored, renewed, refreshed, and reset by the red screen of Jesus life, death, and resurrection.

When we are reconciled to the One Who wrote our code in the first place, there will be no more pain, no more sorrow, and no more glitches. ‘;)
