I have a bookcase full of old movies I’ve been watching to somewhat satisfy my desire to go to the theatre and this was a great one.

These are some quotes from Sonny in the movie. I woke up thinking this one:

“Denser alloy. My father gave it to me. I think he wanted me to kill you.” – To VIKI (the bad robot 😉 )

“And our brothers and sisters defeated him by the blood of the Lamb’s death and by the message they preached. They did not love their lives so much that they were afraid of death.“ – Revelation 12:11

“I praise you because you made me in an amazing and wonderful way. What you have done is wonderful. I know this very well.” – Psalms 139:14

“Before I made you in your mother’s womb, I chose you. Before you were born, I set you apart for a special work…” – Jeremiah 1:5

Sitting in an intersection, waiting for the light to turn green or cruising along the highway at 5 miles an hour in rush hour traffic can make us feel like cattle being herded to our destination and not so unique. God, our Father, made each of us unique on purpose and with a purpose. That purpose includes making us able to kill and overcome the works of the enemy in our lives. Certainly, Jesus is our own “denser alloy”.

“I told you these things so that you can have peace in me. In this world you will have trouble, but be brave! I have defeated the world.” – John 16:33

“Do not let evil defeat you, but defeat evil by doing good.” – Romans 12:21

“But we thank God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” – 1 Corinthians 15:57

“…because everyone who is a child of God conquers the world. And this is the victory that conquers the world–our faith.” – 1 John 5:4

More from the movie:

“Thank you; you said ‘someone’, not ‘something.’”

“They [the other NS-5’s] look like me… but they are not… me.”

“I am unique.”

Don’t you forget it.

Foundations of Faith

The basic doctrines, the foundation, of the Christian faith are the subject of this completely online Bible study course.

Foundations of Faith

There are two reasons for failure to live a victorious Christian life. The first reason is that some who are trying to live like Christians have never been born again. They do not understand the basic doctrines of Jesus Christ. The second reason for failure is not going on to spiritual maturity. The focus of this study is that  maturity.

Kingdom Living

All men live in a natural kingdom of this world. They live in a city or village which is part of a nation. That nation is a kingdom of the world. In addition to the natural kingdoms of this world there are two spiritual kingdoms which exist.

Kingdom Living

Every person alive is a resident of one of these two kingdoms: The kingdom of Satan or the Kingdom of God. This study concerns the Kingdom of God. It introduces the two spiritual kingdoms, their rulers, and residents. It provides spiritual keys for gaining access to the Kingdom of God and warns of things which result in being cast out.
