So that you can see again…

“So Ananias went to the house of Judas. He laid his hands on Saul and said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus sent me. He is the one you saw on the road on your way here. He sent me so that you can see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”
Immediately, something that looked like fish scales fell from Saul’s eyes, and he was able to see again! Then Saul got up and was baptized. After he ate some food, his strength returned.” – Acts 9:17-19

There are days I want to speak a message so thousands get saved.

There are other days I want to just buy that old guy a cup of coffee and ask him the “question.” (“May I pray with you about something?”)

There are still others where I want to make tech ‘just work’ all the time so our pastors and their teams can focus on ‘prayer and reading the Word’. I want to be like Philip and Stephen, chosen in Acts 6:1-7

Whatever the case, I just want to obey in that moment.

When I read about Ananias I wondered WHO he was.

I know he wasn’t Paul.

Maybe he was only called to open Saul’s eyes.

Maybe he had no clue Saul would become Paul.

That day, just that one, he obeyed.

Today, may God use us to help someone see again.
